The Kurdish String Orchestra was founded in May 2007. There were a bout 30 musicians from four Kurdish cities of Sulaimanyah,Hawler,Dhok,and Karkwk in Iraq.The Orchestra wishes to bring peace instead of war,and bring calmness instead of anxiety through classical music.
Also the Kurdish String Orchestra wants to be a beautiful sound in the musical world and be an appropriate venue for peace as well.
Music is sound and life,life is sound and music.For that reason we wish to keep playing music in order put a smile on your face and to be a part of your fond memories.
